Francisco J. Pino
Francisco J. Pino is an Assistant Professor of Economics at the University of Chile. He is also a researcher at the Centre for Social Conflict and Cohesion Studies (COES), and research affiliate at the Institute for the Study of Labor (IZA). He received a Ph.D. in Economics from Boston University.
His fields of interest are Political Economy, Development Economics and Economic History. He also have interest and experience in Public Economics and Labor Economics. His current research is focused on understanding the impact of political institutions on economic as well as political outcomes, particularly in the context of under-represented groups.
